Soreness and discomfort are expected following the dental implant surgery and may continue for several days.  Slight bleeding may continue for several hours and can last until the following day. Slight swelling and bruising may occur up to several days following the procedure.

Continuing the prescribed pain medication for the duration of soreness is recommended.

Normal oral hygiene schedule should commence the night of the procedure. However, avoid brushing and flossing the area of the dental implant surgery and rinse very gently. Slight bleeding and soreness may occur during brushing and flossing.
